I had zero athletic background coming into CrossFit. I started it as a way to get healthy and loose weight, and it turned into much more than that. Not only did it make me physically healthier but mentally too. Giving me confidence and a healthy outlet for stress and anxiety. Going from barely being able to pick up an empty barbell to lifting more than my bodyweight overhead is such a cool thing.
Seeing the changes CrossFit has made in my own life made me want to help others have that same experience. I feel that I can identify with new ones coming in that might be apprehensive or nervous because I've been there.
